Because our Mother's Day 2020 was so well received and we enjoy being creative, our team has come up with another special right away for Thursday, May 21, 2020.
We also open that day at noon from 12-14h for pickup and delivery.
FATHER'S DAY SPECIAL 2020 AT SANSARO: BENTO BOX WITH TONKATSU AND ALL KINDS OF SPECIALS
Under the direction of our wonderful chef Satomi, our team has once again created a special bento box for father's day thought out:
- Various Sushi-Hors d'oeuvres: Maguro Temari Sushi made from Yukari rice with Mitsuba (Japanese parsley) and an absolute rarity: Black-Cod Aburi Nigiri.
- Sunomono of cucumber, wakame and unagi in fresh yuzu bowl
- Chūmaki with soba noodles (cooked in sake, mirin soy sauce) and cucumber and tamago, maguro.
- Doradensushi (Tai) with shibazuke, kappa of yukari rice and grated marinated radish (Daikon no Tamari-zuke).
- Tonkatsu (Japanese "cutlet" of pork shoulder) with shiso ume breading on finely chopped pointed cabbage and arugula
- fried shrimp, green asparagus and cauliflower in special mayonnaise
- white asparagus Miso-Zuke
By the way, Satomi's idea was to create a balanced box of different flavors to create: the strong tonkatsu to give strength to the father, then sour things for refreshment, vegetables for health and healthy buckwheat noodles for long life, and at the end fine sushi specialties for taste.

TIP: PAIR WITH HIGH-QUALITY SAKE!
The best tip: to the box with the Tonkatsu and the fine special sushi a high-quality Japanese sake, which tends to be rather dry! The opportunity is uniquely favorable, because in the delivery service you now get our sake bottles at a reduced take-out price.
Here is a small selection of sake that we recommend to go with it. Feel free to contact us, so much time is always that we advise you on sake. Generally, a tip would be the Tengumai, the Kakurei Junmai Ginjo or even the Imayotsukasa Kioke.
AGAIN A SPECIAL DESSERT: MATCHA TIRAMISU CAKE
Goes on: for the day there is also a special dessert. Namely, a Japanese interpretation of a tiramisu, here with matcha and a shot of alcohol (it's Father's Day...;-) from our pâtissière Nanami.
Matcha Tiramisu Power Cake:
- Base and middle layer of matchaGénoise
- Filling of cream cheese, mascarpone, sour cream, lemon and a dash of sake
- Topping, white chocolate and matcha powder
